Job Summary
Lead groups of 15–20 students through healthy culinary workshops teaching fun recipes such as Black Bean Quesadillas and Crispy Chicken Tenders. Prepare meals, manage grocery shopping, and handle cleanup while students learn essential life skills in Title I school districts. Requires availability from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, two days per week, plus reliable transportation and experience working with children. No formal chef experience is necessary; basic cooking skills suffice. Paid training and mileage reimbursement are included. LIFT Enrichment has taught over 75,000 students since 2010 through its team of 200+ Chef Teachers.
Required Qualifications
- Availability: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM, 2 days per week
- Experience working with kids: i.e. summer camp counselor, retired teacher, etc.
- Experience cooking: i.e. basic meals (no formal or professional chef experience is required)
- Must have reliable transportation
