Job Summary
Lead groups of 15–20 students in Title 1 school districts to teach healthy culinary workshops covering recipes like Black Bean Quesadillas and Crispy Chicken Tenders. Guide participants through cooking, prep, and cleanup using provided culinary kits while fostering essential life skills. Schedule includes 2–3 days per week from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with an hourly rate of $28 and mileage reimbursement. Paid training and reliable transportation are required. This seasonal, part-time role supports LIFT Enrichment's mission to reach over 75,000 students since 2010.
Required Qualifications
- Availability: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM, 2-3 days per week
- Experience working with kids: i.e. summer camp counselor, retired teacher, etc.
- Experience cooking: i.e. basic meals (no formal or professional chef experience is required)
- Must have reliable transportation
