Job Summary
Comic Book Creation Instructor for after-school programs. Lead structured, engaging sessions (1–4 hours per week) focused on guiding students through the complete comic creation process—from concept to finished page. Teach character design, story structure, paneling and page layouts, dialogue and visual storytelling, and drawing techniques. Adapt instruction for different artistic skill levels; foster a positive, inclusive environment; provide feedback on student progress; and coordinate with program staff regarding attendance and session updates. Culminate with a final project or presentation when applicable. Candidates should have minimum 60 college credits (completed or in progress) and experience in art, illustration, comic creation, or creative writing, plus experience working with students and strong communication/classroom management skills.
