Job Summary
Coordinate the after school care program by completing paperwork for subsidized reimbursement, processing applications, and maintaining the parent handbook. Organize indoor and outdoor recreational activities, plan arts and crafts, serve afternoon snacks, and supervise students while assisting with homework. Collect fees, work with the school bookkeeper, and supervise and evaluate after school staff. This part-time role involves less than 20 hours per week for 10 months within the Jackson County School System.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- completion of at least two years of higher education
- completion of an associate's degree
- First Aid/CPR certification
- BSAC (Basic School Age Care Training)
