Job Summary
Assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club at Southfield Primary School. Help set up, organise, and deliver a range of daily activities while encouraging participation, and manage snack time preparation, serving, and tidying. Maintain sensitivity for children with additional needs and ensure activity areas are clean and tidy at the end of each day. Develop strong relationships with children aged 4–11 and actively understand relevant Ofsted standards and internal policies. Work Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 6pm, term time only, with full training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS disclosure
- Passion / interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting
- Fun and energetic nature
- Reliable
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and children alike
- Ability to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years
- Experience of working in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery
- Thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience as an Early Years Educator
- Experience as a Nursery Assistant
