Job Summary
Teach engaging after-school drama classes for students ages 4–11, inspiring confidence through acting, movement, speech, and creative play. Follow the provided curriculum and lesson plans while directing student performances and building positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff. Represent the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm, attending monthly staff meetings and training sessions. Available Monday through Friday between 2 PM and 5 PM, with opportunities for additional teaching, camps, and administrative projects as the program grows.
Required Qualifications
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable
- Passionate about working with children
- Confident leading groups of students
- Organized, professional, and an excellent communicator
- Creative, flexible, and positive
- Available Monday–Friday between 2 PM and 5 PM
- Able to commit through at least one school year
Desired Qualifications
- Previous teaching, coaching, or youth leadership experience
- Theater, acting, dance, music, or other performance experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
