Job Summary
Lead after-school childcare programs as Site Director for VT DCF-licensed school-age programs across three Southern Vermont locations. Role includes program leadership, coaching site staff, maintaining safe, inclusive environments, licensing/compliance, and enrollment/family engagement. Requires 18+ and an associate degree or higher, plus one of several leadership credentials or substantial relevant experience. Employer-paid childcare available during work hours; part-time, non-exempt schedule (Mon-Fri afternoons) with direct work with children (ages 5–12) in school settings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Ability to meet Vermont DCF school-age program leadership requirements
- One of: 10+ months experience in school-age childcare or youth programming; Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential; Vermont Program Director Credential; Vermont Teacher Licensure; Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate; Master’s degree in a youth-related field
