Job Summary
Plan and implement activities fostering cognitive, social, emotional, language, physical, and self-help growth in a positive environment while supervising and interacting with children. Maintain a safe, sanitized space by regularly cleaning toys and modeling positive behavior management through redirection, clear expectations, and encouragement rather than punitive time-outs. Provide daily support for child development, ensuring privacy and confidentiality while communicating effectively with parents. Work the after-school shift from 2:45pm to 6:00pm at Holy Spirit Elementary, assisting with setup and activity participation. Uphold core values of faith, unity, excellence, and integrity to promote a community of learning.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to comprehend policies, procedures and guidelines
- Mobility required
- Must be able to operate all equipment utilized in a childcare center
