Job Summary
Teach one-hour basketball classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans while managing class sizes of 8–16 students. Maintain a fun, energetic environment, take attendance, manage sign-ins, and interact with parents and school staff. Capture class photos for documentation and attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting. This part-time role involves sessions Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM at various Bay Area elementary schools. Candidates must live locally, have reliable transportation, and complete background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19+ years old upon application
- Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
- Applicants must already be eligible to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
- Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting
- Flexible, reliable, and punctual
