Job Summary
Provide leadership and operational support to frontline Mentors during after-hours operations, managing roster changes and responding to incidents with appropriate escalation. Support team members with PRN medication, restrictive practices, and participant enquiries while ensuring decisions align with NDIS Practice Standards and Behaviour Support Plans. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure continuity of support and maintain accurate documentation throughout your shift. This hybrid role operates on a fortnightly rotating roster covering Friday 4:00pm to Monday 11:00am, combining office-based work at the Campbelltown Head Office with weekend on-call responsibilities. You will work alongside a colleague with alternating weekend coverage. Australian Mentoring Services, a leading NDIS provider for psychosocial disability and autism, offers this SCHADS Award Level 4 position to develop your operational leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the disability, community services or care sector
- Previous leadership, Senior Mentor, Team Leader or Coordinator experience
- A strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards, Behaviour Support Plans and Restrictive Practices
- Experience with rostering or workforce coordination
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills
- Confidence working independently and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Driver Licence
- Availability for after-hours support from 4:00pm Friday through to 11:00am Monday
- Ability to work alongside one other After Hours Team Leader with weekend coverage alternating on a rotating roster
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership, Senior Mentor, Team Leader or Coordinator experience (highly regarded)
