Job Summary
Manage check calls, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure successful loads during critical after-hours operations. Analyze load progress, troubleshoot driver problems, and anticipate challenges like weather or traffic to keep deliveries on track. Act as the key link between drivers, customers, and sales teams by providing clear communication and support while accurately documenting load fees and delivery updates for billing. Work late-night, early-morning, and weekend shifts in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong multitasking skills to support sales teams and maintain customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in freight brokerage or logistics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working late-night, early-morning, and weekend shifts while staying sharp and alert
- Able to work with a diverse group of drivers, including bilingual ones
