Job Summary
Monitor students at Sheridan Hills Christian School while providing quality instruction with a biblical perspective. Follow proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures, observing who enters and leaves the child care area. Assist students with homework, pass out snacks, and play with students on the playground. Resolve conflicts with children and parents while maintaining a firm but friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor. This role requires a born-again believer who is an active member in good standing at a Bible-believing church and demonstrates Biblical qualities as a Christian role model.
Required Qualifications
- A born-again believer with a testimony of salvation by receiving Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
- An active member in good standing at a Bible-believing church.
- Public and private life that demonstrates Biblical qualities of a Christian role model at home, work, and in the community.
- Practice principles of Christian growth including prayer, study, witnessing, and discipleship.
- Physical and mental characteristics to perform the job description and duties
- Candidates must be able to resolve conflicts with children and parents
- possess the ability to be firm but friendly, and must be able to be courteous and professional when dealing with parents, children, and other co-workers.
