Job Summary

Develop models and perform analysis on sensor, tracker, communication, and weapon systems for mission-level simulations using AFSIM, with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making. Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, assess risk, and document uncertainties in simulation results. Collaborate with the software development team to design efficient data representations for large datasets, test accurate interactions across interdependent algorithms, and automate production analysis pipelines. Likely work with a small team including junior analysts and senior engineers to guide project direction. Engage in independent research projects and present work through briefings to technical specialists and pivotal decision makers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • At least two years of experience with AFSIM for modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Experience conducting statistical analysis to identify trends and draw conclusions
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or Python
  • Ability to obtain SAP level access and Interim Secret clearance (and ultimately Top Secret)
  • U.S. citizenship for security eligibility
