Job Summary
Afrikaans Language Instructor sought to teach adult professionals at the ICLS schoolhouse in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include teaching Afrikaans to adults in-person, with assignments ranging from full-time to part-time for private students and/or small groups across varying proficiency levels. Preferred experience includes curriculum development, ILR scale familiarity, and DoD/Foreign Service proficiency testing preparation. Candidates should have native-level Afrikaans, a bachelor’s degree, and legal work authorization in the United States; postgraduate teaching or second language acquisition credentials and technology tools experience are highly desirable. - Native-level proficiency in Afrikaans
