Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for immigration cases involving asylum, VAWA, U Visas, T Visas, naturalization, and adjustments of status. Prepare and draft legal documents with precision while managing multiple case files and meeting case progression benchmarks. Provide effective guidance to clients throughout the immigration process and collaborate with paralegals and fellow attorneys to enhance legal strategies. Stay updated on evolving immigration laws and policies to ensure compliance. Participate in firm committees under partner guidance to contribute to operations. This full-time hybrid role requires three days of on-site presence in Fairfax, VA, or Silver Spring, MD, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 to 5:00.
Required Qualifications
- Active bar membership
- 0-3 years of experience in immigration law
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Proficiency in conducting thorough legal research using legal platforms
