Job Summary
Lead Humanity & Inclusion as the legal representative in Lebanon, deploying the organization's mandate across health, inclusive education, mine action, and emergency preparedness while managing partnerships with local structures and donors. Ensure compliance with budgetary frameworks and HI policies, actively monitor environmental risks, and represent the organization in humanitarian coordination forums. Assume full responsibility for crisis interventions and organizational transformation initiatives, including the "Simplification" and "ROOTS" projects. Navigate complex national government authorities and lead teams under volatile security conditions in Beirut and unsafe southern regions. Conduct aggressive fundraising and maintain regular donor contacts.
Required Qualifications
- You are autonomous
- You are able to adapt and shift activities
- You are responsive to sudden emergencies onset
- You have knowledge on mine action and you can manage military team members
- You can navigate complex national government authorities
- You can lead a team under a considerable stress (multiple internal displacement among our team members) while remaining calm
- You can live in a unsecured environment (Beirut) and travel across the country in unsafe location, in particular the South of the country
- You can do some aggressive fundraising, keep regular contacts with donors in country and the region
- You can represent actively HI into the humanitarian coordination foras (NGO & UN)
