Job Summary
Bachelor's-level clinician needed for Idaho Mobile Crisis program to provide crisis stabilization services, support individuals in crisis, and facilitate referrals to ongoing services. As a member of the Mobile Response Team (MRT), work across diverse community settings with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include completing crisis assessments (CSSRS and other clinical documentation), responding to crisis dispatches within 60 minutes urban or 90 minutes rural, assessing safety, developing crisis safety plans, facilitating linkages to appropriate care, ensuring follow-up with providers, facilitating referrals to prevent escalation, collecting customer service surveys, completing regulatory documentation to support reimbursement, and providing crisis follow-up within 72 hours as clinically appropriate. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a mental-health field, crisis intervention certification/training, CPR/First Aid, valid driver's license and auto insurance, computer literacy, and experience with mental health and crisis-related disorders. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a mental-health related field from an accredited institution
- Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
- Two-years-post-bachelors professional experience; or a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited institution plus three-years full-time equivalent professional experience in the mental health field.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Must be computer literate
- Must be experienced and competent in profession and maintain any applicable license, training and/or certifications
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness, emotional disorders, and substance- related disorders who are experiencing emotional or behavioral crisis.
