Job Summary
Administer professional facials, body, nail, hand, and foot treatments while educating guests on skin care concerns and product knowledge. Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization standards, properly care for equipment, and perform prep work including room cleaning and restocking. Communicate guest questions and concerns professionally, respond immediately to requests, and promote spa services and retail programs to meet sales goals. Work without direct supervision, participate in training and staff meetings, and assist in all spa operations as requested. Maintain a positive attitude, uphold quality standards, and meet minimum retail sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold and maintain a current Oregon State license
- Ability to speak and hear
- Close and distance vision
- Identify and distinguish colors
- Ability to lift 5 lbs
- Occasionally lifts/carries up to 15 lbs
- Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop or crouch repeatedly
- Must be a team player
- Must have enthusiasm
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Must be willing to participate in marketing events
Desired Qualifications
- Should be trained in some or all of the following esthetic equipment use: Steamer, Vacuum, High Frequency, Brush, Spray, Steamer, Woods Lamp, Galvanic, Sterilizer, Ultrasonic air brush for make-up
- Entry level position in an upscale spa or resort environment
- Strong customer service background
- Enjoy working with people
- Friendly and outgoing personality
