Job Summary
Senior Associate for AES SAP ABAP at PwC. The role focuses on SAP ABAP development within Application Evolution Services, including help desk support, enhancement and optimization work, and strategic roadmap/advisory activities. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, administration, development, and support of SAP products, mentoring junior resources, client engagement, and leading with a consultative approach. Candidate should have extensive SAP experience (6+ years), expertise in ABAP, SAP UI5/Fiori, SAP HANA CDS, OData services, SAP Scripts/Smart Forms/Adobe Forms, BAPI/IDOC/ALE, LSMW/BDC, User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Spots, OOABAP, and workflows; capable of delivering Technical Design Documents and Unit Test documents, ensuring SLAs, and interacting with onsite teams. Willingness to work 2nd shift (IST) and travel as required. PwC emphasizes leadership, client relationships, and cross-team collaboration within a global Managed Services framework.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum SAP ABAP experience: at least 6 years
- Extensive SAP experience including ABAP development
- Experience with SAP UI5/Fiori app development
- Experience with SAP HANA and CDS views
- Strong knowledge in Forms (SAP Scripts/Smart Forms/Adobe Forms) and Reports (ALV/Classic)
- Interfaces (ALE/IDOC,BAPI) and Conversions (LSMW/BDC)
- Enhancements (User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Spots)
- Object Oriented ABAP and Workflows (Development, Configuration)
- Odata (SAP ODATA Framework, Eclipse IDE and SAP Web IDE)
- Good experience with building OData services using NetWeaver Gateway and ABAP
- Travel availability (2nd shift IST)
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
- Experience reading client requirements and providing technical designs and unit tests
- ITIL methodologies familiarity
- Implementation experience is an added advantage
