Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance on rotating equipment, valves, and pumps, including alignment, bearing replacement, and leak arrestment. Lubricate machinery, repair chemical dosing pumps, and coordinate subcontractor activities while overseeing facility upkeep. Schedule preventative maintenance, manage spare parts inventory, and prepare activity reports. Coordinate safe loading and unloading of chemicals and rental assets, ensuring equipment is ready for customer deployment and post-inspection. Advise on maintenance and inventory needs under supervisor guidance. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, as a non-exempt employee at Aquatech's Creekside, PA location.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent skills in troubleshooting pumps, motors, blower, valves & piping
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and maintain a positive attitude and good organizational skills
- Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks or projects
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- One (1) or more years of relevant work experience fixing large industrial pumps, motors, blowers, valves & piping
- Hazwopper safety training or certification
- Forklift certification
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal candidates will have water treatment and or chemical handling experience at an industrial water treatment facility
- Attention to detail and being a team player
- Technical School Graduate preferred
