Job Summary
Aerospace Tool Assembler at AIT will operate the Assembly department to read advanced job order specifications and blueprints, perform assembly of components with hand tools, power tools, or bench machines, inspect and verify assemblies for conformance, adjust or repair defective parts, and ensure safety and quality. Responsibilities include lifting/moving materials, following procedures, rotating through multiple stations, and maintaining cleanliness. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring and marking parts, cutting materials, and performing tests or inspections to confirm specification adherence. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, the ability to obtain a government security clearance if required, and be able to travel up to 20%.
