Job Summary
Source Inspector responsible for dimensional and visual inspection of aerospace machined components, including review of paperwork, final/receiving inspection, and assembly considerations. Will verify FAI’s to AS9102 for accuracy and completeness, work with hand measurement tools, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), blueprint interpretation, and CMM inspection concepts (programming not required). Requires travel to supplier locations, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook; background and drug screening, and U.S. citizenship are required. The role emphasizes independent decision-making, attention to detail, and collaboration within quality teams under general supervision. Working hours are typical business hours with potential extended hours and travel between suppliers; valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English – reading and writing is required
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Pass pre-hire background check including DMV and credit screening
- Pass Pre-hire Drug Screening
- Valid drivers' license and auto insurance
- MS Outlook and Excel experience
