Job Summary
Lead daily shipping and receiving operations at PPG's Kennesaw, GA facility. Supervise Shipping Department activities, oversee drivers and delivery schedules, ensure safety, quality, and procedural standards, train and develop staff, coordinate material needs, and drive Lean process improvements. Requires forklift certification and familiarity with DOTA/IATA/IMDG plus ERP experience (QAD preferred). On-site role reporting to Aerospace Operations Manager; must work in a on-site, hands-on capacity with emphasis on schedule adherence and safe practices.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship, Green card holder, political asylum or refugee status eligibility to apply
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- 4+ years in a lead or supervisory role within shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory operations
