Job Summary
Aerospace Quality Inspector I responsible for inspecting aerospace components and assemblies using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, CMM, etc.), performing visual inspections, and analyzing measurement data to accept or reject parts. Will inspect at various manufacturing stages to ensure conformance to engineering drawings and AS9100/ISO 9001 standards, document results, and collaborate with production to support continuous improvement. Role requires understanding GD&T, familiarity with CMMs and DRO systems, and ensuring proper torque application during assembly. Must maintain safety, follow ITAR/E-Verify requirements, and be able to work Monday–Thursday (4,10-hour days) with potential OT. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as aerospace quality inspector or in a similar role
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, CMM
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001
- Strong GD&T knowledge
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Safety-mindedness and familiarity with aerospace manufacturing environments
- Computer proficiency including DRO systems and basic data entry
- Certification or training in quality inspection methods/tools is a plus
- ITAR/E-Verify eligibility or ability to meet export control requirements

- US citizenship, lawful permanent resident status, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligibility to obtain necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State (ITAR)
