Job Summary

Monitor and audit the quality of all manufactured goods at Pioneer Industries Plant 1, 2 & 3 Aerospace for compliance with industry and customer standards. Interface with Manufacturing, Production, Planning, and Estimating departments to schedule inspection plans, CMM programs, and first article reporting. Execute multiple projects simultaneously while managing priorities and adapting to changing situations. Lead complex projects with strong ownership, utilizing internal auditor experience and technical document writing skills to create accurate process documentation. Apply AS9100/ISO9001 standards and self-verification specifications to ensure adherence to safety-sensitive requirements under RCW 49.44.240(3), subject to pre-employment and ongoing drug testing.

Required Qualifications

  • US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 4 years Machining Manufacturing Experience
  • Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances Knowledge
  • Knowledge of both the theory and practice of modern production principles and methods as applied to fabrication and assembly
  • NADCAP and chemical experience
  • Internal Auditor experience
  • Technical Document writing experience
  • AS9100/ ISO9001/ AS9102/ AS9103 and Self Verification Specification experience
  • Ability to handle and execute multiple projects simultaneously within the context of a large organization and set priorities while easily adapting to changing situations
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, capable of leading complex projects with a strong sense of ownership and individual responsibility for success
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized independent thinker

  • Proficient with database management tools such as Access, SQL, & Crystal Reports
  • Knowledge of machining and assembly practices, tools and fixturing
  • Background in metal fabrication and assembly
  • 6 Sigma Black Belt qualification
  • PMP Certification
