Job Summary
Prepare aerospace parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface prepping. Apply primers, coatings, and paint finishes according to specifications, then inspect work for quality and proper coverage. Operate spray equipment, mix coatings, and maintain tools while ensuring a safe environment with correct PPE use. Handle and move parts throughout the process, collaborating with production and quality teams to meet deadlines. This 2nd shift role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and steady hand movement in a manufacturing setting. You must be a U.S. citizen to comply with international trade regulations.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistency and precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods of time
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators and protective clothing, as needed
