Job Summary
Senior Aerospace Engineer role supporting Defence CASG governance and Depth maintenance capability for MQ-4 Triton platforms in Adelaide (Edinburgh). Responsibilities include applying Part 66/145/147/Part M regulations to compliant maintenance activities, defining maintenance workflows, developing maintenance task cards and MRO execution logic, and delivering structured maintenance plans with clear inputs and stage gates. Requires degree-qualified Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering experience within Defence/aerospace maintenance environments, experience with maintenance planning and MRO, strong problem-solving, collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, and Australian citizenship with an eligible security clearance. The role involves contributing to maintenance activities across Australian and U.S.-based Triton aircraft and supporting development of systems, processes, and frameworks for complex, large-scale maintenance operations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree-qualified Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer
- Experience in aircraft maintenance environment
- Working knowledge of DASA regulations (Part 66, 145, 147 and Part M)
- Experience contributing to maintenance planning/task card development/MRO execution
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Australian citizen with security clearance (current or recently suspended)
