Aerospace Engineer to support Navy mission-focused work at the Naval Research Laboratory. Conduct advanced fluid dynamics simulations to characterize aerodynamic loads and aerothermal environments across a wide range of flight regimes. Require strong understanding of aerodynamics, fluid-thermal interactions, and simulation-based design. Proficiency with CFD and trajectory modeling tools, plus CAD experience. Tools referenced include Star-CCM, CBAero, Cart3D, TAOS, Siemens NX Design or SolidWorks, and MATLAB for data analysis.
