Job Summary
Composite Lamination Technician responsibilities include reading and following English instructions and diagrams, performing layup of prepreg plies with correct orientation, vacuum bagging parts, trimming materials, preparing molds with release agents, and ensuring quality and compliance with manufacturing instructions. Roles require basic shop math, ability to work with resins and catalysts, coordination with other departments, and maintaining accuracy and pace in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Shift is 11:30 PM–8:00 AM with potential training on 1st shift; candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills, and maintain dependable attendance. ITAR-compliant role with U.S. person requirement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year previous experience
- Ability to lay-up and vacuum bag complex parts
- Possesses knowledge of composites and composite terms
- Ability to read design specifications and technical drawings
