Job Summary
Partner with customers to understand intermediate technical needs, provide solutions, and deliver technical support and troubleshooting. Complete intermediate preliminary and critical design reviews for new business opportunities and product development. Create and maintain engineering documentation, including models, drawings, and procedures, while acting as the engineering approver for documentation reviews. Process engineering change requests internally and externally, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, manufacturing, and sales to ensure customer satisfaction. Support the sales team by providing technical information and conducting product demonstrations. Partner with third-party suppliers as needed to support product gaps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline
- 3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in a customer-facing role
- with a Master's degree counting as 2 years of experience
- 2 years' experience with CAD and engineering software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX)
- 2 years' experience in product design, including experience with complex surfaces, assemblies, and kinematics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to self-manage and successfully work without supervision
- Ability to handle and prioritize dynamic workload
- Strong oral and written communication
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proven proficiency with presentations and public speaking
- 40% domestic and international
