Job Summary
Supplier Specialist role focused on aerospace/defense manufacturing supply chain. You will develop partnerships with suppliers, manage delivery performance and root cause analysis, drive corrective actions, and coordinate cross-functional communication to prevent delays. Daily travel to Peterborough, NH with frequent local travel; opportunity for regional travel. Requires US citizenship, valid driver's license, and completion of pre-employment background and drug screening. College degree preferred (may be substituted by additional experience); 5–10 years of manufacturing experience in aerospace/defense/shipping industries is preferred. Proficiency in supply chain management, production control, shop floor management, continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PDCA), project management, and strong written/verbal communication skills are expected. Required Qualifications
- US citizenship required
- College degree preferred (may substitute additional experience)
- Minimum of five to ten years of manufacturing experience (Aerospace, Defense, Ship Building, or Submarine Industry preferred)
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license
- Pre-employment background and drug screening required
- Experience with Supply Chain Management, Production Control, and Shop Floor Management
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, PDCA preferred
- Strong Project Management experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
