Job Summary
Aerospace and Defense Supplier Specialist is a full-time role based in Manchester, NH with frequent local travel and daily travel to Peterborough, NH. Responsibilities include developing supplier partnerships, managing Open Order Reports, monitoring delivery performance, conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions, coordinating with sub-tiers, driving cross-functional actions to prevent delays, and providing frequent written communications on mission-critical parts. Requires US citizenship, driver’s license, pre-employment background/drug screening, and 5–10 years of manufacturing experience in aerospace/defense contexts; college degree preferred. Required Qualifications
- US citizenship required
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of five to ten years of manufacturing experience required (Aerospace, Defense, Ship Building, or Submarine Industry experience preferred)
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license
- Pre-employment background and drug screening are required
- Experience with Supply Chain Management, Production Control, and Shop Floor Management
- Experience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing principles, Risk Management, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, PDCA preferred
- Strong Project Management experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
- Strong independent decision-making skills, analytical skills and professional judgment
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
