Job Summary
Develop partnership relationships with assigned suppliers to meet customer requirements and manage Open Order Reports to minimize delivery risks. Drive timely closure of corrective actions by initiating root cause analysis and working with problematic sub-tiers to establish achievable production commitments. Facilitate cross-functional communication to prevent unnecessary delays and provide frequent written updates on mission-critical parts and overall delivery performance. Requires US citizenship, a college degree or equivalent experience, and five to ten years in manufacturing within aerospace, defense, or shipbuilding sectors. Full-time position with periodic local travel and pre-employment background checks.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship
- Minimum of five to ten years of manufacturing experience
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment motor vehicle history check
- Expertise in Supply Chain Management
- Expertise in Production Control
- Expertise in Shop Floor Management
- Experience with continuous improvement
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience with Risk Management
- Experience with Six Sigma
- Experience with Kaizen events
- Experience with PDCA
- Strong Project Management experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
