Job Summary
Production Operator across multiple departments (Packaging, Harvesting, Seeding, Sanitation, Shipping & Warehouse, Grow Room) responsible for packing leafy greens, sorting for quality, adhering to safety, GMP, and operational procedures; operate scales and metal detectors, manage the automatic packaging line, assist with transporting heavy equipment using forklifts, and assist with cleaning and sanitizing the facility; lifting up to 75 lbs, standing for long periods, and following supervisor/lead instructions; requires High School Diploma or Equivalent, basic English, ability to work in a cold environment, weekend availability, strong teamwork, and basic math and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in food production is helpful
- Effective communication skills
- Basic English proficiency (reading, writing, understanding, and speaking)
- Ability to work in a cold environment (34 degrees F) for extended periods
- Weekend availability is a must
- Ability to respect and maintain confidential information
- Capability to work within a team environment
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate an electric forklift/pallet jack after training
- Strong time management skills to meet shipping deadlines
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use scales and computers
