Job Summary
Aerial Lift Trimmer responsible for trimming, pruning, and removing trees using a bucket truck or similar equipment. Requires 2-3 years of professional aerial lift operation experience and a valid driver's license. Duties include following safety practices, preparing materials with the General Foreperson, performing tree maintenance near utility lines, debris disposal, tool/equipment care, and teamwork with crew members. Must demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes, rigging, tree species, electrical hazard awareness, and the ability to work at heights under varying weather conditions. Travel for storm restoration when needed; able to pass background and drug screening and obtain first-aid/CPR certification. Equal opportunity employer; includes health benefits and PTO. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
- Driver's license required
- 2-3 years previous professional experience operating an aerial lift trimmer or Jarraff required
- Must meet I-9 requirements
- Background check and drug screen as required for this job
- Ability to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
- Must be able to travel out of town for storm restoration work when needed
- Must be able to wear PPE and operate in proximity to electrical hazards
- Ability to pass safety and operating procedures for electrical lines and aerial techniques
- Ability to identify tree species and knots/rigging devices knowledge
