Job Summary
Aerial Lift Trimmer responsible for trimming, pruning, and removing trees with a bucket truck or other equipment. Tasks include performing professional tree maintenance, clearing vegetation away from utility lines, maintaining tools and equipment, adhering to safety practices, assisting crew members, and enabling storm-restoration work as needed. Requires knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging; ability to work at heights; understanding of electrical hazards and aerial techniques; CPR/first-aid readiness; PPE compliance; and willingness to travel for out-of-town storm duties. Emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing skill development under supervision of a General Foreperson.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
- Must be able to travel out of town for storm restoration work when needed
- Must meet I-9 requirements
- Must possess physical strength and agility, good balance, good depth perception
