Job Summary
Operates rotorcraft aircraft to provide emergency medical transportation in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and state and municipal regulations. Performs preflight inspections, monitors weather and forecasts, and ensures safe, efficient flight operations; maintains flight readiness and coordinates with maintenance for discrepancies. Requires extensive flight experience (2000 hours total; 1500 helicopter hours; 1000 PIC; 500 turbine hours; night hours). Holds Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate, Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating, and a High School diploma or equivalent. On-site duties at Athens, OH with comprehensive benefits, sign-on and retention bonuses, on-duty housing, and a 7/7 schedule.
