Job Summary
Conduct preflight inspections of aircraft utilizing the rotorcraft flight manual, reporting discrepancies to maintenance immediately. Operate helicopters safely and efficiently in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, the Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and state/municipal rules. Monitor forecast changes and current weather situations while ensuring operations remain within regulatory limits. Maintain a rested state for duty and stay current on all weather and forecast updates. This VFR position supports Global Medical Response's mission of providing emergency medical care and patient relocation services worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
- 230-pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
- Valid Pilot License
- Valid FAA Medical Certificate

- Previous HAA experience or equivalent
