Job Summary
Emergency medical helicopter pilot role performing rotorcraft operations in compliance with FAA FARs and company manuals. Responsibilities include preflight inspections using the rotorcraft flight manual, monitoring weather and forecast changes, operating aircraft safely and efficiently, recording discrepancies and notifying maintenance, and ensuring readiness for duty. Qualifications include Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate, Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating, high school diploma or equivalent, and extensive flight time (2000 total hours, 1500 helicopter time, 1000 PIC, 500 turbine) with night experience. Positions are evergreen across locations with relocation to open locations as assigned; benefits include on-duty housing and competitive salary with potential geographic modifier. Required Qualifications
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pilot License
- FAA Medical Certificate
- 1800+ hours total flight time (minimum shown as part of description)
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- experience in EMS/air medical services preferred
- ability to comply with FARs and company operations manual
