Job Summary
Train Fleet ACNT technicians on Baseline 9C Aegis Combat System; develop and deliver classroom and lab training for Sailors, including curriculum development, instructional materials, and tests; teach approved course content, assess performance, and provide improvements; review Navy doctrine and adapt curricula to maintain currency; maintain records of training activities and participant progress; stay current with relevant technologies; travel up to 10% for training delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of experience with the Aegis Computer Network /Aegis Weapons System as either a maintenance technician or operator with responsibility for teaching the applicable system or function task to others in an apprentice level training environment.
- One (1) year experience as an instructor in a Navy Training Environment, to include curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and the results of instruction and counseling students on academic learning problems.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience.
- Possess ACNT NECs V00C/V69A or V01C/V75A.
