Job Summary
Recruiter/Relationship Builder to co-manage the full-cycle recruiting process for Ayres, engaging talent and collaborating across divisions to align top talent with opportunities. Responsibilities include drafting job postings, reviewing applications, conducting phone screens and interviews, evaluating candidates, offering employment, onboarding support, ensuring EEO/compliance, liaising with employment agencies, representing Ayres at universities and career fairs, and managing multiple requisitions across locations. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, and employer-branding skills, experience with ATS/HRIS, and willingness to travel. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; PHR/SPHR certification is a plus; proficiency with social media for recruiting and a solid understanding of employment laws. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment; recruiting in the AEC industry is desired
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and the MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions across disciplines and locations while providing high-touch service to hiring managers
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with candidates, colleagues, leaders, and HR partners
- Willingness and ability to routinely travel
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
- Experience leveraging social media for recruiting and employer branding
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close offers
- Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting-related compliance requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel
