Job Summary
Part-time evening instructor role to train students for Ohio EPA Water/Wastewater Class I-III licensure; 3 hours per class, 1 day/week for 9 weeks, with in-house and off-site pay rates ($26/hr in-house, $30/hr off-site) and up to 839 hours per academic year. Responsibilities include facilitating student learning, completing class paperwork, monitoring progress, assisting with curriculum development and scheduling, and ensuring employability skills. Requires 3 years of field experience, ability to obtain the Ohio Adult Education Permit, and compliance with background checks and drug-free workplace policies. Required Qualifications
- 3 years of work experience in the field for which is being instructed (must provide supporting documentation)
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Holds or is able to obtain a valid Ohio State Board of Education Adult Education Permit
- Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
- Able to successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check
- Maintains compliance with drug-free workplace rules, Board policies, and other applicable procedures/guidelines
