Job Summary
Senior-level Account Executive / Expansion role responsible for managing select enterprise accounts, expanding relationships, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Develop bespoke proposals, monitor key account metrics, forecast sales strategies, collaborate with marketing on client campaigns, and lead contract negotiations to align with customer needs and market changes. Build and sustain long-term client relationships, provide actionable insights from account performance, and drive growth within existing enterprise portfolios. Candidates should demonstrate proven success in enterprise account management, strategic sales planning, stakeholder engagement, and achieving sales targets within Postgres- and data-driven environments, with a client-focused approach aligned to EDB's data and AI platform offerings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise account management experience for enterprise accounts
- Track record of growing enterprise account portfolios
- History of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic sales plans
- Adept at identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Expertise in mapping customer structure and engaging with different stakeholders
- Experience in contract negotiations and pricing
- Proficient in customer relationship management and retention
- Ability to monitor sales trends and perform sales forecasting
- Strong proposals and business case development skills
