Job Summary
Sales Associate at AE in Colima, Mexico, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and maintaining a neat, well-presented store environment. Responsibilities include applying the AEO Customer First selling standards, informing customers about loyalty programs, leveraging technology to provide product knowledge, supporting teammates, styling customers with key looks, promoting brand channels, processing register transactions accurately, restocking returned merchandise, maintaining clean and organized sales floor and backroom SOP, and resolving customer concerns in line with company policy. Requires strong communication, teamwork, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with technology is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, sales leadership and associates
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate
- Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time with short rest breaks
- Available to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Proficient with technology
