Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of Austin Energy’s transmission, substation, and distribution systems; lead planning, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination; ensure safety, compliance, reliability, and resiliency per NERC/ERCOT/PUCT standards; manage capital projects and emergency restoration with Incident Command teamwork; supervise staff, allocate resources, and authorize purchases, while coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining budgets; requires a bachelor’s degree and six years of related experience, including two in a supervisory capacity, with valid Texas driver license and willingness to travel as needed.
