Job Summary
Provide case management and career counseling to customers, including individualized assessment of work, family, and personal development needs; determine program eligibility and complete enrollment documentation; build professional relationships to help remove barriers to employment; provide referrals to community and social service agencies; coordinate workshop schedules and activities; maintain organized participant files and detailed case notes; ensure follow-up and retention services align with contract requirements and funding agency expectations; assist in preparing project reports and support team processes to increase customer engagement across career center or community settings; position requires knowledge of Microsoft Office and valid driver’s license; Tier I Florida Workforce Professional Certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Human Resources, or related area preferred
- Career counseling experience
- Valid driver’s license
