Job Summary
This part-time Advocate position involves working directly with youth and families to provide advocacy and support, helping them to navigate challenges and access resources. Key responsibilities include initiating and implementing advocacy services, developing programs to promote personal growth, and collaborating with professionals and organizations. Applicants should possess a minimum of a high school diploma, experience with at-risk youth, strong communication skills, and be able to work independently, along with having reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
