Job Summary
Full-Time Hourly Advocate position serving youth and families throughout Marion County. Responsibilities include initiating, organizing, planning, developing, and implementing direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families using a strength-based approach with a wrap-around model. Candidates must possess a minimum High School Diploma or GED, experience with at-risk youth, community work, and knowledge of community resources. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, reliable transportation, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
- Experience working with at-risk youth
- Proficiency using computers, Microsoft Office 365
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) speaking is a plus
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Record Systems (EHR) is a plus
