Job Summary
The Advocate is responsible for initiating, organizing, planning, developing and implementing direct advocacy services to youth and families throughout Orange County. This role uses a strength-based approach and the wrap-around model to create service plans. Candidates must demonstrate dependability, commitment, and the ability to serve as a positive role model while having experience working with at-risk youth and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with at-risk youth
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
- Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus
