Job Summary
Advocate for survivors of human trafficking across multiple Iowa counties, delivering trauma-informed and survivor-centered services, coordinating short- and long-term support, increasing survivor identification, facilitating access to services, and enhancing referrals. The role requires participation in a 24-hour on-call rotation and may involve travel within Scott, Muscatine, Louisa, Clinton, and Jackson counties. Working within an EOS-driven team environment, the advocate collaborates to meet client needs, ensure culturally/linguistically appropriate services, and support quality survivor services across assigned counties. Typical schedule includes 32 hours per week with specified daytime hours and rotating evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage; must have reliable transportation and comply with background checks. The position is full-time, nonexempt, located in Davenport, IA, with office-sites noted in Davenport and Davenport Lombard Office.
Required Qualifications
- Education Required: Open
- Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field.
- Experience Required: Any relevant experience in a related field.
- Experience Preferred: 3 Years of experience working with survivor services in the human services field.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and a vehicle with appropriate auto insurance are required.
- Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.
